Dead in the Family - Charlaine Harris Another mediocre Sookie Stackhouse novel. I actually enjoyed this book more than I did the last which says something about how much I hated the fairy war since nothing really happens in this one. I'll admit that part of the reason I liked this book was that Eric was featured more than in any other book since book four. Unfortunately, he definitely seemed out of character at times. All of the characters have changed in unnatural ways since they were first introduced which is one of the biggest weaknesses of these later books. The only character change I've enjoyed is Jason. I'm glad that Harris has decided to give him a bit more humanity and allow him to grow and develop. I definitely think it's time for Harris to wrap up this series.
